The once nerdy turtleneck was the most seen runway trend of Fall 2015. A touch of geek chic, paired with a mini a line skirt, knee high boots and a crossbody bag in similar tones, this is a great transitional fall look.
Fall 2014 is all about tartan and plaid. We chose to maximize the pattern and layer a plaid shirt under a plaid cape, belted at the waist to resemble a long flowy vest. Paired with a soft mini and booties, this is one of our favourites looks for the season.
The Jean Jumpsuit in Downtown Calgary. CSL’s fashion editor and (and resident style blogger) paired this distressed jean jumpsuit with a stiff oxford shirt pinstripe shirt, wedges (another key trend for Summer 2015) and lasercut crossbody bag.
Open Back Maxi at Soda Rock Winery. A breezy summery floral maxi dress worn while traipsing through the vines in Healdsburg, Sonoma, California.
All White everything. CSL’s fashion editor (and style blogger) wears one of the hottest trends for Summer 2015- The Little White Dress. This version with cutout details, an a -line skirt, and perforated details make it one of our fave dresses for the season. Paired with gladiator sandals, this modern approach to summer dressing will keep you cool.
Walking through the beautiful rose bushes at Dragonfly Floral in Healdsburg was a treat! There were hundreds of beautiful blooms in an array of colours, along with a variety of other flowers and plants.
Blush at Hotel Les Mars- wearing a beautiful full length evening dress in dusty pink fit in perfectly at the French style hotel.
On a recent trip to Sonoma county, we were taking an early morning walk around downtown Healdsburg, when we stumbled upon Shed, a drool worthy gourmet shop selling fresh pasta, potted plants, charcuterie, flowers and coffee- a must see!
A Canadian Tuxedo. J Vineyards makes some of the best sparkling wine in Sonoma- and we were more than trilled to visit (and have a cheese and wine tasting) at the vineyards. CSL also visited the iconic tin barn at Wilson Winery, wearing the Canadian fashion fave- denim on denim.
