The Wine
The evening, presented by the always fabulous Linda Garson of Vine and Dine included wine and food pairings by Italian winemaker Castello di Gabbiano. It was a cold winter day, but the warmth and hospitality of the family atmosphere at Casa d'Italia put everyone in a cheerful mood.

Eggplant croquettes (with breadcrumbs, herbs and parmiggiano) baked with Provologne cheese and tomate sauce
Chicken scaloppini
Vitello Boscaiola
Veal Scaloppini in a fresh tomato, mushroom, green pepper, green onionn sauce with roasted potatoes and vegetables. (The alternative was chicken)
