Dark

BLACK POLISH Exude attitude with this dark shade. Pair with a flower pattern dress to add modernity and edge.

TWO-TONE GREY Grunge is the inspiration, so don’t fuss about precise lines. Instead swipe Inglot Nail Enamel 960 freehand over two coats of dark grey.

DEEP ROUGE Why save va-va voom nails for fall? Turn the trend upside-down by wearing it this spring to a wedding, shower or graduation.

Nude

SUBTLE Classic, feminine and versatile, Michelle Saunders for essie calls mademoiselle the fail-safe colour choice for all skin tones.

PALE PINK Apply a ridge filling base coat to clean fingernails. Next, apply two coats of essie hi maintenance. Finish with a top coat.

SHEER Apply two coats of sheer nail polish. To get a really glossy shine to nails, top with gel setter top coat.

MATTE The key to achieving this ladylike look is to finish with a matte top coat. It flatters a variety of looks from dressed up to casual.

ASYMMETRY Apply two base coats. Paint a diagonal black line across the nail. Fill in with alternating black and white stripes at the tip of the nail and inside edge.

FRENCH MANI TWIST Paint the entire nail in base colour. Then use a flat brush dipped in acetone to remove polish at the tip of nail before applying accent colour.

OMBRE Choose an acrylic, nude, almond shaped nail to complement soft pink brush strokes. To create a custom colour mix two shades together.

HANDCRAFTED Apply two coats of white polish. Fill in from the cuticle halfway down the nail in a contrasting colour. CND jazzed it up with tassels.
