Two Awesome Airport Lounges.  There is nothing more simple yet taken for granted than having a stress free journey when flying. That’s where the airport lounge soars; Convenient, relaxing and a quiet place to grab a quick bite. City Style and Living Magazine checks out two lounges that offer passengers a sweet escape.

LUFTHANSA BUSINESS LOUNGE: FRANKFURT
Access: Lufthansa / Star Alliance business Class Ticket for a same-day departing flight

FAVOURITE FEATURE
With eight business class lounges at Frankfurt airport, accessibility was easy. The large bright space had lots of room and never felt crowded.

ON THE MENU
Loads of German beer and wine to select from. We had a few cappucino’s while munching on a warm cheese encrusted prezel (with mustard of course!) and a
bowl of warm pea soup. Chicken hot dogs were also on feature for lunch.

AMENITIES
The shower facilites and private restrooms were spotless, while the ‘relaxing room’, with cots are excellent for jet lagged travellers. Lufthansa lounges are also equipped with free wifi, tv and office units.

PLAZA PREMIUM LOUNGE: TORONTO PEARSON
Access: Plaza Premium Lounge: 2 hour access for $40 Canadian

FAVOURITE FEATURE
The expansive windows overlooking the runway are captivating at nightime. The low lighting and reclined leather chairs were the ideal spot to relax during our
three hour layover. Best of all, our gate was a mere elevator ride away.

ON THE MENU
Fresh sandwiches, salad and desserts plus a selection of drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic). Our favourite dishes were the signature fish ball soup with diy toppings: fried shallots, sambal and green onions) and Noodles with a spicy Asian sauce.

AMENITIES
The newest lounge (and largest) from Plaza Premium is elegant, chic and inviting with marble, dark wood accents and oversize chandeliers. The lounge is also equipped with a VIP room with seating for 6 available for rent, showers, and complimentary wifi.
