Eating House 1849 is award winning chef Roy Yamaguchi’s take on plantation food with a modern twist. It is a nod to both Hawaii’s culinary heritage, and pioneer restaurateurs like Peter Fernandez, who opened one of the first restaurants in Hawaii in the mid-1800s. Standouts include the garlic tiger shrimp piri piri and warm malasadas (doughnuts).
